SS '08

Summer Solstice: 1. When the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator. The summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere occurs about June 21, when the sun is in the zenith at the tropic of Cancer, marking the first day of summer and the most minutes of sunlight.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we all got together at Grant's for some BBQ. Grant was the host of the party and the Chef, he's kind of like the Bobby Flay of Wichita.

Grant said he didn't have any chairs for little people, so I brought my own

Betty and I became good friends and co-presidents of the 40lbs and under club at SS'08.

Let's Get Physical

When Mom told me she had been to Target again, I was not surprised. When she told me she had bought "Mom and Baby Fitness" DVD I didn't know what to think.

We decided to let Dad join in the fun, starting with "Downward Dog"

I'm not sure what exercise/stretch this was, but it looked much different than the one that lady did on the TV.

"Side Plank" looked really hard for Dad, but I think he finally got the hang of the execises.

Time for abs with Mom, starting with "The Bicycle"

Even Scooter thought his abs needed a little toning.

By the end of it all, I felt pretty buff, hence the muscle shirt.

Sick :(

If you didn't know already, 2 weeks ago I had some problems with wheezing and coughing. I had to be on these darned breathing treatments for sometime. I guess my parents thought it looked funny, so they took a picture of it. I think looking like an elephant at 5mo. old is something hard to do, but I did it! Oh yeah, I'm much better now, so don't worry.
